About Luq

Luq Adejumo is a registered psychotherapist based in London, currently working online at The School of Life as well as seeing private practice clients both online and in person. 

He is experienced in working with issues related to anxiety, depression, shame, gender dysphoria, homophobia, complex family dynamics, bereavement, grief, addiction, self-loathing and feeling marginalised due to race, gender or sexuality.

Luq Adejumo is accredited with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) and with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). He trained at the Metanoia Institute and he holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in Person-centred psychotherapy and a Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from Regent’s University. Luq also trained as a Supervisor at The Minster Centre, and he holds a Diploma in Supervision.

Luq is a Visiting Primary Tutor on the Humanistic and Integrative courses at The Metanoia Institute.

Qualifications 

Luq Adejumo is registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) and he is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). He trained at the Metanoia Institute and he holds a Master’s degree in Person-centred psychotherapy and a Diploma in Contemporary Person-Centred Psychotherapy.

Luq has worked in private practice since 2018. Whilst training, Luq worked as a volunteer counsellor for LGBTQ+ charities such as, London Friend and The Terrence Higgins Trust for the last 3 years, as well as the low cost therapy services at MCPS and HQ Therapy in East London.  

Luq trained at the The Minster Centre as a Supervisor and he holds a Diploma in Supervision.
